As the company’s lead PR agency, Golin will also help showcase its major brand activities to its target audience, including its Tour de France partnership.
The agency will provide a narrative around Dimension Data’s role as official technology partner to Tour de France organiser Amaury Sport Organisation, showcasing how its technology is changing the viewing experience for those watching the race.
Julie Moon, senior director, corporate communications at Dimension Data, said: “We were blown away by the energy, enthusiasm and thought Golin had put into their pitch.
“Golin’s impressive technology experience will be vital in helping us reach our core business audiences. But we also saw the passion and creative flair we were looking for to help take our storytelling to the next level around key projects, such as our technology partnership with the Tour de France and our Connected Conservation work in Africa.”
Will Sturgeon, executive director at Golin, added: “Dimension Data has great stories to tell, from helping organisations plot their way through digital transformation to digitising the fan experience of the Tour de France and the incredible ways it is using technology to combat poaching in Africa.
“We are really excited to have the opportunity to help Dimension Data tell these stories in a more integrated way, building upon the social media work we have been doing over the past 12 months.”
