Kyme will lead Cicero’s work with a number of financial services clients in the banking, insurance and fintech sectors.

With over 10 years of experience in journalism and PR, Kyme has working for agencies including Edelman, Teamspirit and FTI Consulting. She has specialised in financial services for the majority of her career, and has worked for clients including Barclays, Deloitte, Standard Life, Aviva, Close Brothers Asset Management and Legal & General.

Kyme said: “It’s incredibly exciting to join an agency that has experienced such rapid growth in its PR division in recent years. Cicero has an interesting and diverse client base, and some of the clients I’ll be working on have the potential to shake-up their industry in the coming years. The agency has a history of hiring former journalists so I feel like this is a really good fit for me.”

Mike Robb, executive director at Cicero Group, added: “Irene’s experience speaks for itself, with a career based on experience at the thick end of journalism at both the BBC and Sky News, coupled with PR work for some of the most-respected organisations in the financial services space.”
