Charles rose to become a programme editor for ITV’s News at Ten within a successful 10-year journalism career. He also co-founded Luther Pendragon with former Observer industrial editor George Pitcher in 1992.
"Charles has launched and built three very different, highly successful agencies, advised clients at the highest levels, worked in broadcast journalism at the top of the profession and served as chairman of influential organisations such as Editorial Intelligence," explained Fraser Hardie, senior partner at Blue Rubicon. "As Charles has also served on Blue Rubicon’s own advisory board for some years, the decision to invite him to join the executive team was an easy one."
"I’ve worked with Blue Rubicon in an advisory capacity for some time and have always felt the desire to get more hands-on so as to contribute more fully to its success," added Charles. "I’m relishing the chance to do just that and to play my part in realising the bold strategy that sits at the heart of the agency’s five-year vision."
