Music streaming service Napster has brought in CCgroup and its consumer lifestyle sister agency Escapade to do its UK PR.

The appointment comes as Napster, which was recently acquired by Rhapsody, seeks to drive consumer uptake and build its b2b market presence.
Thorsten Schliesche, general manager of Napster Europe, said: "Napster has ambitious plans for European expansion and we need an agency that can present a clear strategy to achieving our commercial objectives.
"Combining Escapade's consumer expertise with CCgroup's unrivalled knowledge of the mobile industry gives us exactly what we need to help grow our subscription base and present the benefits of service bundling to potential partners."
Richard Fogg, MD of CCgroup and Escapade, said: "We're excited to be working with such an innovative player in the digital music space. Our mix of consumer lifestyle and mobile industry expertise made us the perfect partners for Napster."
Napster offers a monthly subscription for its music and entertainment services, starting from £5 a month and providing access to a catalogue of more than 15 million songs.
