Evening Standard briefs W

The London Evening Standard has brought in W Communications as its retained agency, following its award-winning work on The Independent and sister paper i.

The agency has been briefed to provide an ongoing strategy to promote the paper's high profile events and campaigns including 1000 Most Influential, The Evening Standard Film Awards and The Evening Standard Theatre Awards.

The team will also work closely with the editorial team on its Get London Reading and Dispossessed campaigns, as well as promoting its content and exclusives across both the Evening Standard and ES Magazine.

W will also work with the Evening Standard's digital team to promote the newly launched standard.co.uk and its ongoing brand extensions, including recently launched Business Connections, the third of which takes place on Wednesday 20 June.
