Canoe wins skateboard brief

Canoe PR has been brought in by Penny Skateboards to handle its UK PR.

The agency has been briefed to communicate Penny's activity to core surf and skate media, as well as building awareness of the brand in mainstream media.

Matt Woodruffe, MD of Penny Skateboards' owner TKC Sales, said: "When an original brand like Penny Skateboards returns to market after more than 30 years, it rightfully deserves the serious investment by credible players to provide the optimum PR, Marketing and Distribution mix.”
