Helen starts in her new role on July 23 and her focus will be on attracting new people to use Twitter and "showcasing how it enriches people's interests, whether that's music, sport or politics".

She will report to European comms manager Rachel Bremer who has been covering the UK role.

Helen worked at 3 Monkeys for four years, and was PR manager at News International for three years before joining Diffusion a year ago.
