New hires for Bishopsgate's financial and corporate teams

Bishopsgate Communications has strengthened its financial PR and corporate teams with the appointments of Sam Allen, Ivana Petkova and Mark Cotton.

Sam (pictured) joins as account manager of the TMT team. He has advised companies since 2001 having previously worked for a number of clients at financial PR companies; Binns & Company, College Hill, Bankside and Hansard Group.

Sam was also a freelance writer and sub-editor on the sports desk of The Observer newspaper.

Ivana joins Bishopsgate as an account executive for the natural resources team having had two years of experience in financial communications, working across a broad range of sectors, including metals and mining, renewable energy and financial services. Ivana joined the company from Corfin PR where she served as an account executive and supported a number of AIM-listed clean-tech and TMT clients.

Ivana has a MSc in International Marketing from King’s College London.

Mark will be an account manager on Bishopsgate’s corporate team. After more than a decade working as a financial journalist for the world’s largest media organisations including Reuters, Dow Jones and Agence France Presse Mark has extensive knowledge of the asset management industry, the equity markets, hedge funds and private equity. He is a bilingual English/French speaker.
