Daily Record’s Iain Pope joins Stripe Communications

Iain Pope, the Daily Record’s former head of digital news,  has joined Stripe Communications in the newly-created role of editorial director.

Pope has more than 20 years’ experience in print and online executive editorial roles.

As well as his head of digital news role at the Daily Record, he was also digital intake editor for STV and assistant news editor of The Scotsman and Edinburgh Evening News.

He will now work with Leith-based Stripe Communications across a range of accounts, including Scottish Power, the Scottish Government, John Lewis, Merlin Entertainments, Ubisoft, PaddyPower and IRN-BRU makers Barr Soft Drinks.
